What is a Call?

A Call is a generic term for an invitation to submit content. Usually, content is collected in a Submission Phase when you fill in information on a Submission Form.

What is a Submission?

A Submission is the content that is sent into a Call when a Submission Form is filled in. If you're submitting to a Call for Papers e.g. a Submission Form could ask you to submit a Research Paper.

How do I find a Call to submit to?

All the Calls you are eligible to submit to can be found by clicking on the Calls icon from the Homepage. Some Calls may have Submission Access Restrictions added to them that only allow specific users to access the Call. If you believe this may be the case, please reach out to your Call Administrator directly.

How do I send a Submission to a Call?

Can I view my Submission after I have submitted it?

Yes you can.

Can I make changes to my Submission once I have submitted it?

Yes you can.

Edits to Submissions can be made in two ways.

You Call Administrator can allow you to make one round of edits to your Submission, by changing its status to Editable. You can read more on using this feature here.

Your Call Administrators can make edits to your Submission on your behalf.

Please reach out to your Call Administrator directly to assist you with these.

Can I Download/Print my Submission after submitting it?

Yes you can, this article provides a walkthrough on how to Download/Print your Submission.

Can I withdraw my Submission after submitting it?

Yes you can - If the Administrator of the Call enabled this setting.

Can I change the email address that I receive Submission notifications on?

Yes you can.

To do this:

  1. Click on your displayed Name at the top-right side of any page
  2. Click Settings
  3. Under Email type in your preferred email address

How do I log out of my account?

To log out:

Click on your displayed Name at the top-right side of any page

Click Settings

Click on the Logout button

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account:

  1. Click on your displayed Name at the top-right side of any page
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Request to delete my account
  4. Click Request to delete my account to confirm

I am having issues submitting to a Call, what should I do?

As a safe option we recommend first attempting to access the site using Google Chrome. In the scenario where you receive an error message when attempting to submit, we recommend following these steps:

  1. Ensure you are attempting to submit within any Call deadlines
  2. Ensure you have filled all required fields on the Call Form
  3. Ensure all text input Fields take into account any minimum/maximum restrictions added for characters/words.
