Manage User Permissions

Administrators can manage the account permissions of users within Slayte by assigning permissions to specific users.

For updating an individual user's account permissions:

  1. Navigate to the Homepage and click on the Users icon.

Here you are able to either select a user directly from the list or search for a user using the search bar on the top of the page.

  1. Next to the user whose account permissions you would like to modify, click View Profile.

  1. Under Permission Groups you can select as many permissions to grant this user as you please.

*Note only Superadmin can grant Admin permissions in Slayte.

Depending on the module used, Slayte has a number of different user roles that come with different account permissions. These are outlined below:

Superadmin: Superadmins have the highest permissions within the Slayte app. They have the ability to grant other users Administrator permissions, manage the Subscription Plan, create Calls, Events, Competitions, Grant Applications and much more. Superadmin can also manage the site layout, add custom branding, modify communication settings and create custom company policies.

Call Admin: Call Admins are able to create Calls, manage Submissions, assign Reviews, generate Reports and accept/reject Submissions.

Submitter: Submitters are able to submit pieces of content into Calls, print and export their Submissions and withdraw their Submissions if Administrators have enabled this option.

Reviewer: Reviewers are the users who will be assigned to provide ratings on Submissions collected, so these can be accepted/rejected.

Event Admin: Event Admins can create events in Slayte, modify event settings, schedule event sessions, import sessions from Submissions and export these to external event processors.

Competition Admin: Competition Admins have most permissions in the system, including creating competitions, modifying them, assigning performances and making any changes to Competition configurations. This role is automatically granted to all Impexium administrators that are specifically “Administrators” (not “Staff”).

Grant Admin: Grant Admins have the ability to configure grant applications, assign reviewers to applications, communicate with all applicants and accept/reject applications.

Reach Admin: Reach Admins can create networking programs during events and automatically schedule appointments between registrants, using external member databases.
